This jersey had a lot of things going against it... Granted, it's one of the best Packers game-worn jerseys I've ever seen in my life, but in this economy nothing is guaranteed to do well.
Also, there were many holes in this shirt... it is rumored that there are 85 holes in all, although I can't see THAT many from the photos on Robert Edward's site.
Still, this fine piece still sold for $60,000. I predicted it would sell anywhere from $40-60K, so that fact that this sold on the high end of my prophecy it is a very good sign for the vintage Packers hobby, game-used memorabilia in general, and of course, Robert Edward Auctions.
